The Bethlehem Parking Authority is responsible for enforcing the parking laws of the City of Bethlehem and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Since, we are a public corporation one of our main responsibilities is to resolve parking problems for the citizens of Bethlehem. Although in order to resolve such problems, violations of parking privileges are sometimes enforced. If you happen to receive a violation, please review the following schedule when making restitution.
How to pay a ticket:
Payments may be made by cash/check or money order to the Bethlehem Parking Authority. You can choose to mail a check/money order or bring your payment into our office located at 85 W North Street. Also, you can choose to pay your ticket online. Click on this link and follow the instructions. If you have a question in reference to a ticket, please call our office at 610-865-7123. Tickets that have been cited at the Magistrates cannot be paid through this system.
2008 Ticket Rates:
Violation #1 - Meter Violations
within 14 days $10.00
thereafter until citation $30.00
Violation #2 - Parking Violations
within 14 days $10.00
thereafter until citation $30.00
Violation #3 - Parking Violations
within 14 days $15.00
thereafter until citation $35.00
Violation #4 - Parking Violations
within 14 days $50.00
thereafter until citation $70.00
How to appeal a ticket:
In order to appeal a ticket, a request must be made to the Bethlehem Parking Authority. If you bring your ticket number and your registration, we can complete this request in our office.
We are also able to process requests made via fax as long as they are signed. Our fax number is 610-865-7124.
Once a request is made, it will be forwarded to the Magistrate's office and a hearing will be scheduled. The Magistrate will notify you of the date and time.
