All businesses that wish to offer validation parking to customers on a limited basis will be able to purchase pre-paid validation tickets.These pre-paid tickets will replace our current Park and Shop process and will be sold at the Bethlehem Parking Authority. This is an easy and very efficient validation method for businesses that wish to offer free parking to their client/customers.
This conversion will result in some changes for the customer.
Please familiarize yourself with the following and be sure to tell your client/customer how to use their pre-paid tickets:
-Customers will dispense a ticket upon entry into the parking structure.
-Customer receives a pre-paid ticket from the business owner.
-Customer pays at the exit. Customer inserts ticket into pay station location at the exit lane, once prompted the customer will insert ticket. If the ticket covers the total amount of parking, the barrier gate will rise up for exit. In the event that the validation does not cover the total amount of parking, the customer will be charged the remaining amount. The customer will have the option of paying with credit/debit card or cash; once payment is received, the barrier gate will rise up for exit.
