Parking News:
The "I" zone is now renewing. The permit has an expiration date of 02/28/11.
Note: The Unit Block of W. Goepp Street has been added into the "I" zone.
The "C" zone will begin renewing in January. The expiration date will be 1/31/11.
Effective immediately, on line payments of tickets will be charged a $3.00 service fee.
Note: Effective January 4, 2010, operating hours for all street meters will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This change does not affect the meters located in the Riverport Garage which are operational 24 hours per day.
As of January 7, the above operating hours of the meter will not be enforced until April 1. This is due to a delay in reprogramming the meters. Sorry for the confusion.
Note: Effective January 4, 2010, new office hours for the Authority will be:
Monday through Thursday : 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Office is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Spring is in the air and we invite you to shop our two beautiful downtowns with friendly merchants that treat you as a person not a number. There is plenty of parking on both the Southside and Northside shopping districts.
Please be aware that the parking deck behind the Main Street Commons is temporarily closed for major renovation but we have plenty of parking in both the North Street and Walnut Street garages. Also you may find parking on the Broad Street bridge just before the Commons. Meters are located at these spaces but they are free until April.
