Residential Parking Permits

Welcome to Your New Neighborhood! Understanding the Residential Parking Program

What is the Residential Parking Program?

The Residential Parking Permit program (RPP), a codified Bethlehem City Ordinance, is designed to help manage on-street parking in residential areas by giving priority to residents. It helps reduce congestion, prevents long-term parking by non-residents, and ensures that those who live in the area have better access to parking near their homes.

Benefits of the Program

  • Enhances neighborhood safety and accessibility
  • Ensures available parking for residents
  • Reduces parking congestion from commuters and visitors

How to Get a Residential Parking Permit

To obtain a residential parking permit, follow these simple steps:

Visitor Permits

If you have guests visiting, you may be eligible for a visitor parking permit. Once approved for an RPP permit, you can log into your customer portal to obtain Visitor Passes. See our FAQ page here, https://www.bethpark.org/parking/frequently-asked-questions/, for our more frequently asked Visitor Pass questions.

Other Information

  • The RPP permit is for your designated zone only and will excuse you from any RPP time restrictions that are posted for that zone.
  • All other posted parking restrictions may apply.
  • We offer the convenience of permit by plate, so, no hangtags or stickers!
  • A valid e-mail address and credit/debit card are required to purchase a permit.
  • Permits are paid when purchased and are valid until the zone expires (expiration date posted on the signs), at which time, you may renew your permit.
  • Your license plate is your permit, so all vehicle changes must be made in the Customer Portal or through email by emailing info@bethpark.org.
